Chip holds a bachelors degree from the University of New Mexico. Since 1988, Chip has provided financial planning, investment management, insurance and risk management services to individuals and businesses, including non-profit organizations, working together with tax and legal professionals, CPAs, guardians, conservators, and corporate and individual trustees to effectively serve the needs of his clients. Chip focuses on building genuine relationships with his clients, and has experience serving people with physical and mental disabilities. For over 25 years, Chip has served and participated in numerous charitable, civic, fraternal, and non-profit boards and committees including, most recently the New Mexico Guardianship Association and Board President of the New Mexico Estate Planning Council (2 years). Chip managed his own branch of LPL from 1992 through 2013. Chip joined Altenburg Asset Advisors in June 2014.
Chip and his wife, Jennifer, were married for over 28 years until she passed away in January 2016. Chip pursues his passion for athletics and the outdoors through many activities, including skiing and snowboarding, rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, wakeboarding, surfing, mountain biking, hiking, camping and backpacking.
Chip received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1991. Chip received his Accredited Estate Planner designation from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.
